Antonio Leone was born in Lecce, Italy, studied and graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence in 1979, where he attended in parallel the CSDI in Porta Romana. Later, with the studio “Antonio Leone & Cesarina Zanetti Architetti Associati” at the foot of the Apuan Alps, he developed his research and professional work, in the field of architectural and industrial restoration and museum exhibit design. For about ten years, together with his architect daughter Isabella, he has paid special attention to the study of design applied to stone materials and marble processing technologies, which taken as an iconographic matrix, transforms it into innovative and visionary “forms.”
